Model and actress Jenifer D’souza loses 15 kgs for her film

 

Mumbai-based model and upcoming actress Jenifer D’souza proved that one can make it by sheer willpower by losing 15 Kgs to suit the look of a particular character. She did not resort any artificial surgical methods or any other medical therapy and lost the extra pounds by simply following a strict diet over a period of time.  She surprised everyone with her new avatar and expertise before the camera.  She recently shot for a movie as the second lead playing the role of a seductress vamp for Dilzan Wadia Productions. The film is a suspense thriller and Jenifer Dsouza plays the character of a gorgeous vamp that is at logger-heads with the leading lady in the film.

The film was shot partly at Rajpipla in Ahmedabad. Says Jenifer D’souza, “I agreed to play a negative lead in this film because I found the script very challenging and could relate to the persona of the character very well. Talking about her future projects, Jenifer says, she is focusing on challenging and professional roles mainly as a negative lead in television and movies.

Firebrand DJ and actress DJ Jenny D in an interview to a local TV channel has hit out against self-proclaimed incarnation of Goddess Durga god woman Radhe Maa asserting that Radhe Maa is another Nirmal Baba in the making and her complete modus operandi and style of functioning including her source of funds and her bank accounts should be investigated. “I am not saying that she is bad or illegal. All I am demanding is for transparency in the functioning of such personalities who collect funds claiming that they have divine powers.”

In a candid and bold interview, Dj Jenny D said, “The Indian Government should come up with certain rules and regulations for such self-styled God men and women who claim to have divine powers and claim to offer solutions to Life’s problems or other issues like financial problems, heath or children-related issues, etc. Most of these quacks work in areas and places where superstition still persists and people look to the divine for daily day-to-day problems and issues. World’s longest Fashion Show to be held in Mumbai on 30th June

The World’s longest Fashion Show – the FMN Fashion Pageant will be held in Mumbai on 30^th June 2012. 75 fashion designers, about 300 male and female models and about 25 choreographers are expected to participate in the event to create a new World Record or break an existing record. Says Andy John of Futuristic Media Network – the organizers of the event: “We have written to the Guinness World Records (GWR) for details regarding the World’s longest or continuous fashion show. To the best of our knowledge, the longest fashion show record is for 14 hours. We will attempt to break that record. In case the GWR does not have such a record category, we will set a new record for the longest continuous fashion show. Our application is pending with the GWR and we are awaiting their feedback. “We are doing it for charity. To support Indian tailors, small designers, artisans, craftsmen, etc. The theme is Indian Traditional Outfits. The 75 designers will attempt to create and display designs and outfits including footwear, headgear and accessories from the 26 Indian states,” he explained, adding that Umair Zafar and 10 others designers have already signed up for this event. 

 

An adjudicator from the Guinness World Records will be present during the entire event and will verify the facts of the record before handing over the official certificate for the World Record, said Andy John.
